Baptist Children’s Hospital
Baptist Children's Hospital brings together a full range of healthcare services for children from birth to age 18, from preventative and diagnostic care to complex medical surgeries and life-threatening conditions. Our patients and their families have access to more than 200 pediatricians, 100+ pediatric subspecialists and a leading team of pediatric nurses, child life specialists, social workers, dieticians and support staff.
Among the many services we offer are a 24-hour Children's Emergency Center with child-sized equipment; pediatric and neonatal ICUs; specialty clinics for diabetes, cancer, cystic fibrosis, heart disease, genetics and sleep disorders. We are also heavily invested in community wellness initiatives for both children and their parents.
One of our most exceptional outreach programs is the Baptist Children's Hospital Day of Smiles. Since 1999, we have donated our facilities and charitable funds to perform corrective surgeries and reconstructive procedures for South Florida children suffering from cleft lips, cleft palates, scars, tumors, burns and other deformities and abnormalities.
