In this position, you will be responsible for high quality and efficient management of Inpatient coding and reimbursement for all Baptist Health facilities. Ensure established goals, ICD10, DRG, are met.  Manages overall activities of personnel (in-house and remote coders) to ensure timeliness and compliance with CMS, OIG, and BHSF account receivable goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification is required. Prefer RHIT or RHIA. Minimum 7 years of experience is required. Excellent leadership, verbal and written communication, problem-solving and personnel management skills. Knowledgeable in DRG, MSDRGs, reimbursement methodologies, ICD10 CM/PCS coding conventions, health information systems, database management, spreadsheet design, and computer technology. Remote option available.
