Faculty of the Onsite Baptist Scholars Program are
responsible for the educational preparation of the safe, compassionate and
caring professional nurses who are eligible to sit for the State Licensing
Examinations (NCLEX) following graduation. The faculty will help develop the
curriculum and evaluation tools of the various Schools of Nursing. As such, they
will be responsible to provide didactic lecture, skills, clinical teaching and
mentoring to the students of the various college and university affiliations as
well as precepting and integrating the BHSF culture and service standards.
Faculty will support BHSF by attending the various College/University pinning
and graduation ceremonies.  Faculty will also play an active role in the
development of the RN residency program. The faculty will collaborate in the
development of the curriculum, act as subject matter experts and mentors in the
RN system wide residency program as needed. Faculty is expected to participate
and attend RN residency committees as needed. Faculty will also assist Scholars
Director with the placement, mentoring and evaluation of the Scholar Nurse
Partner’s through the different entities system wide.

Must be a Florida Registered
Nurse.  Masters Science in Nursing
required, ARNP preferred. Prefer a minimum of five years direct clinical
experience in nursing and at least two years experience in teaching didactic
lecture and /or clinicals at the Associate, Baccalaureate or Master’s
level.
