Job Description:

The Chemotherapy Nurse Auditor at Baptist Health South Florida is an expert clinician in an oncology nursing practice that combines clinical practice with education and leadership.  The Chemotherapy Nurse Auditor is responsible for auditing all the documentation in the outpatient medical oncology setting for accurate charting and appropriate charge reconciliation.  The Nurse Auditor is responsible to provide education to staff regarding any deficits that are discovered.


Bachelor’s in Nursing (BSN) required. Valid RN license from the State of Florida. Minimum 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in Oncology.  Procedural coding, billing and audit experience required.  Strong understanding of the workflow process in outpatient medical services, as well as appropriate billing guidelines. Extensive knowledge of laws, regulations and rules applicable to billing government payers is helpful.  Demonstrated ability to be self directed with excellent organization, analytical and interpersonal skills. Excellent oral and written communications skills. Strong attention to detail. National Certification in Oncology (OCN Certification) preferred.
