Job Description:

The Research Budget & Contract Analyst at Baptist Health South Florida works with principal investigators, research coordinators, research administrators, and other clinical research stakeholders and interdisciplinary departments such as Patient Financial Services, Legal on the financial/budget analysis of clinical trials to include, but not limited to contract review and negotiation, clinical trial budgeting and billing, Medicare coverage analysis and overall clinical trial financial documentation.


  • Bachelor’s degree (Science or Arts) in business or healthcare related field required, Master’s degree preferred. 
  • Two years of research administration or research coordinator experience in a hospital or academic research setting required.  
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to organize large sets of data and proficiency in arithmetic manipulation, MS Office & Excel required.  
  • Excellent attention to details required.  
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills required.  
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/protocols in coordination with interdisciplinary teams and departments required.  
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations relevant to administration of clinical trials and Medicare rules and requirements.   
  • Knowledge of medical terminology helpful.  
  • Certification in one or more of the following is preferred but not required: CCRC/CCRP/CRCP/CHRC.  
  • CITI required or willing to obtain within 3 months.
