Job Description:

Under the direct supervision of the Physician provides primary care in collaborative joint practice with the physicians to patients and/or family members in the hospital setting on a regular basis as requested by physicians. The scope of responsibility includes, and is not limited to: expert practitioner, educator/teacher, care management, and consultant. The PA supports and adheres to the compliance program to include OSHA, HIPPA and the Code of Ethics and business standards.

Qualifications:

Active Florida license as a Physician Assistant required.  BLS Certification required.  NCCPA Certification required. Associate of Science required.  Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.  Oncology experience.  Experience and knowledge in the management of the physiologic and psychological effect is of cancer diagnosis and subsequent treatment.
