Volunteers are an important part of the team at Baptist Health South Florida. Some are students, others are retirees. Some were patients here, and came back to help. We have professionals, homemakers and military personnel on our volunteer roster as well.
The spirit of caring runs deep at Baptist Health. And it feels good too. In fact, studies show that volunteers are usually healthier and happier than their peers. That’s because they’re doing what they love: donating their time and energy to others. A volunteer experience will also give you a chance to meet new people, and contribute to the reputation of quality and service that we are known for.

It depends on your skills, abilities and personality; how much time you would like to invest; and if you are seeking a certain learning opportunity for a career initiative or school credit.
