Job Description:

The Patient Experience Advisor looks at healthcare through the lens of the patient and makes sound, strategic recommendations to leaders and teams on how to improve the safety, quality, and experience of care for patients. They help bring perspective and focus our team members on our cultural values, mission and purpose of caring for others.

The Patient Experience Advisor will contribute to the team in the following 3 key areas: 


Client Relations:

  • Partner with leaders and teams (clinical/non-clinical) in developing and implementing strategies to improve the patient experience at the unit/departmental level.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on patient experience trends and best practices for assigned areas.


  • Analyze patient feedback and conduct regular field observations to identify performance gaps.
  • Translate data trends into meaningful insights and recommendations.

Project Work:

  • Drive cross-functional projects to completion by influencing and aligning our partners on our recommendations and objectives.
  • Deploy improvement initiatives to help teams meet the patient experience goals.
  • Use ideation and storytelling to create high quality compelling presentations.


The ideal candidate for this exciting opportunity with the Patient Experience team at Baptist Hospital of Miami will have:




* Bachelor’s degree and a minimum 3 years of experience.
* Prior experience with Hospitality/Customer Service; Sales/Marketing, Teaching/Counseling; Communications/Public Relations; Advertising/Design; or Project Management/Consulting is highly preferred
* Self-directedness with Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
* Ability to work with little or minimal supervision
* Professional demeanor, goal and detail oriented, organized, and compassionate with excellent customer focus
* Strong facilitation skills and demonstrate ability to unite individuals around a common goal
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
* Flexibility with schedule and travel based on the business needs
