About Us

This year, and for 22 years in a row, we’ve been named one of Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For, based on employee feedback. We’ve also been listed as one of Working Mother’s 100 Best Companies for 2020. People magazine included us in 50 Companies That Care. And Ethisphere has named us one of their World’s Most Ethical Companies in 2021. The U.S News & World Report awarded Baptist Health with 39 high-performing honors in 16 different types of care. With 8 hospitals recognized; Baptist Health has tied for the top spot as the #1 hospital in the region for 2021.

But really, the reason we’re excited to come to work is the people.

Working together, we form personal connections with our colleagues that are stronger than most of us have experienced at other jobs. We develop caring relationships with our patients and their families that go beyond just delivering healthcare. After all, we know what it’s like to be in their shoes. Many of us have been patients here and have had family members as patients here. We’re committed to delivering quality care in the most human and compassionate way possible, because we feel a personal stake in the outcomes. When it comes to caring for people,
we’re all in.

We're all unique - and we're all in.

The incredible talent you’ll find here is one of the reasons patients choose Baptist Health instead of anywhere else. We’re more than 23,000 strong, spread across hospitals, urgent care and other facilities throughout South Florida and beyond. We each bring our own diverse experiences, expertise and perspectives to the job, but we’re all here for the same reason — to help our patients heal.

What makes this the best place?

We’ve received some nice awards for our culture, and we’re grateful for the recognition. But really, the best way to know what it’s like to work here is to talk to some of our employees. Or you can hear what they have to say in the employee videos included on this site.

COVID-19 Employment Update:

All Baptist Health employees must obtain their initial COVID-19 vaccine (single dose or first dose of the two-dose series) or receive an approved exemption as a condition of employment. During the post-offer health screening process, the Occupational Health team will advise new hire candidates to provide details of their COVID-19 vaccination (single or two-dose COVID vaccine) and, if not vaccinated, will advise the candidate that they would need to receive the single dose or first dose of a two-dose vaccine in order to be cleared to work.  In addition, if a new hire candidate needs to request a medical or religious exemption, the candidate will be given the opportunity to submit such documentation for review by Baptist Health’s Exemption Committee.
